2026, Missoula, Montana. 32 x 20 in wool form; 48 x 32 in clear polycarbonate, mounted with matte gold aluminum standoffs. The Unfolding is made with ethically sourced British Teeswater wool, wet felted in layered veils and then needle-sculpted into long, drifting bands. A pale body loosens and opens—fibers parting like new skin, like breath—while the clear mount lets light pass through and pool in soft shadow. It holds that chrysalis moment when structure softens into becoming: tender, suspended, mid-change.
