2026 - Missoula, MT. Hand-felted and needle-sculpted fiber wall relief made with humanely sourced Teeswater wool, Montana Gotland gray, and off-white wool, mounted on 24" × 18" × .25" recycled acrylic with a milk finish and gold standoffs; the wool form (approx. 14" × 12", irregular) floats on the surface like a soft threshold—feathered edges holding warmth, shadow, and a deliberate blur. This piece is an unlayering, a transformation within the chrysalis, mirroring the in-between space so many of us are living through right now: the protective mind reaching for plans in an unknowable time, while something deeper calls us into presence. The fuzziness is intentional, built from wisps of wool to evoke the subtle euphoria that can come when we unclench and return to the body—when the places that have been screaming for attention finally soften (for me, my low back). Etheric and close to Self and Source, this work is also held by lineage—my Jewish female ancestors as a quiet presence from beyond—guiding, protecting, and witnessing emergence.
