2026 – Missoula, MT. Hand-felted fiber wall relief made with humanely sourced Teeswater wool, Montana natural Gotland gray and warm beige, and Tussah/Peace silk. Mounted on 24" × 18" × .25" recycled frosted acrylic with rare earth magnets, and matte gold aluminum standoffs; the fiber form (approx. 16" × 11", irregular) hovers like heat and prayer made visible. Seraphim—often translated from Hebrew as “the burning ones”—are associated with purification: the live coal lifted from the altar, the moment the human voice is refined and made ready to speak. This piece holds that kind of fire—not harsh, but exquisite—like the richest oranges and reds of a sunset, where ember and flame soften into something luminous, cleansing, and newly possible.
